Pule Mmodi, S’fiso Hlanti, Bandile Shandu, Patrick Maswanganyi and Thabang Monare have all accumulated three bookings this term. Another one for any of these players will trigger an automatic one-game domestic suspension. Pirates are away to Richards Bay on Saturday 25 November at 15:30. Chiefs, meanwhile, make the short trip to Dobsonville to face Swallows on Sunday with kickoff at 15:30. The Glamour Boys will likely have to do without Thatayaone Ditlhokwe who dislocated his shoulder in action for Botswana on Tuesday.

Managerial merry-go-round

Molefi Ntseki won 3/9 league encounters at the helm, a modest win ratio of 33% according to OptaJabu. Kosta Papic and Giovanni Solinas fared even worse with identical win ratios of 29% in DStv Premiership encounters. Surprisingly, the man with the worst record of all is Gavin Hunt who won just 21% of his league matches as Amakhosi boss. One obvious proviso here is that Hunt was in charge for eight months, while Papic was a the club for just three months, Solinas four. Ntseki was at the helm for just 114 days. Nine different men have occupied the hot seat since Chiefs last won silverware under Stuart Baxter in 2015, and all of them have failed to win a trophy.
