Amakhosi management invited academy product Omega Mdaka to training whilst Bucs management have given Zimbabwean teenager Prince Ndlovu has been invited for a second trial stint.

Meaning, these are the two newest players to train with the Soweto giants.

Arthur Zwane and Amakhosi management have promoted another DStv Diski Challenge player in Mdaka.

Mdaka, aged 19, is a talented left-back.

Furthermore, he has been dominant in this position in the DDC, regularly dispossessing opposition players. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that he has earned promotion and now Amakhosi have genuine depth at left-back.

PIRATES OFFER SECOND TRIAL TO NDLOVU

Teenage sensation Ndlovu is only 17 years old and he is already being offered his second trial stint with the Bucs.

Meaning, he has caught the eye of Bucs management.

In fact, at just 17, he was due to train with Croatian second-tier side HNK Vukovar in February. However, he missed out due to Visa issues. Initially, Ndlovu spent two weeks with the Sea Robbers in January while waiting for his Visa. Now, he is set for a one-week trial stint with the Bucs.

“Prince [Ndlovu] is supposed to leave today with an evening flight. He will be on trials from 20-26 March,” Highlanders communication and marketing officer Nozibelo Maphosa stated on the Chronicle website.
