Kaizer Chiefs have named an Amakhosi legend they want to coach them – watch out Stuart Baxter!

Bernard Parker is nearing the end of his legendary and storied career with Amakhosi.

He has studied sports management and sports psychology, according to iDiskiTimes. Meaning, he is set up to extend his career in football well after he hangs up his playing boots.

“So Bernard has really set himself up to stay involved in the game. He loves the game, he loves the club and in an ideal world, we’d love to see him in a coaching position at Kaizer Chiefs,” Parker stated on their website.

When he does decide to call it a day, Amakhosi would love to see him as one of their coaches. There is no doubt Parker will coach but Kaizer Motaung would love to see his captain continue to lead at Naturena.

As a coach, he is a natural leader and brings massive experience to the table. As it stands, Parker has not renewed his contract. However, his agent Mike Makaab has confirmed that the ball is in his court.

He can choose to extend if he feels he has a lot more to give or he can hang up his boots when he is ready, it is his choice.
