FIVE PLAYERS TO TARGET IN JANUARY

Not every signing works out in football, and early signs have shown not all the new talent at Naturena will make it as Glamour Boys.

Additionally, fans and local experts have made it quite clear more talent is required for Kaizer Chiefs to become the best team in Mzansi.

There are question marks on the depth and quality in central midfield, wide, and in the striking area.

Here’s a list of proven and in-form PSL players:

  1. Sibongiseni Mthethwa, 31, Stellensbosch FC –  Defensive midfielder – Cover for Njabulo Blom.
  2. Katlego Otladisa, 25, Marumo Gallants – Winger – Cover for Kgaogelo Sekgota.
  3. Khanyisa Mayo, 24, Cape Town City – Forward – Compete with Keagan Dolly and Khama Billiat.
  4. Karim Kimvuidi, 20, Maritzburg United – Attacking midfielder – Compete with Billiat and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.
  5. Pule Mmodi, 23, Golden Arrows – Winger – Compete with Sekgota.

Meanwhile, Zwane’s side is preparing a trip to Cape Town to battle Stellenbosch FC on Sunday at 15:30.
