KAIZER CHIEFS TO ANNOUNCE BURUNDIAN STRIKER?

As The South African website previously reported, Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana has been at Naturena under coach Arthur Zwane’s watch since June.

After scoring two times in three friendly games, we somewhat knew the towering center forward is destined for a career with the Soweto giants.

Reports say the 24-year-old has done enough to convince “10111”. The player is now negotiating terms before putting his signature on a contract that has Kaizer Chiefs’ logo.

“Following all the training sessions and practice matches that Arthur Zwane has conducted through pre-season his recommendations have slanted towards that Bimenyimana be signed,” Kick Off reported.

“Inside sources confirm that Chiefs have now opened negotiations with Bimenyimana’s handlers with the view of ironing out a deal.”

WHAT THE NUMBERS SAY

The towering Burundian was clubless last season, with his most recent statistics coming from the 2020/21 season. Bimenyimana delivered six goals in 24 games for FC Kaisar in Kazakhstan.

The 1,94 m tall center forward was quite the journeyman in East Europe. He played for five clubs in Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Kazakhstan.
