As confirmed by Amakhosi, the second league game of the season is a trip to Tshwane. The event will be a battle with Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday, 9 August, at 15:00.

The game will be aired on SuperSport, channel 202.

WINGER LEAVES AMAKHOSI FOR STELLENBOSCH

It’s become official. Chiefs’ speedy winger Kgaogelo Sekgota has left Naturena. His new home is Stellenbosch FC.

Amakhosi and Stellebosch FC’s connection has continued. Sekgota is going to wear maroon this season.

The former Bidvest Wits and Moroka Swallows winger was announced in the Cape Winelands. The 26-year-old has left Soweto despite making 24 appearances in gold and black last season.

“Stellenbosch Football Club is delighted to announce that the club has acquired the services of South Africa international Kgaogelo Sekgota,” Stellies announced.

“Sekgota is a massive signing for us,” the club’s head coach Steve Barker said.
