According to this new report by FARPost’s Sinethemba Sithole, Mhango and Amakhosi have agreed on terms, subject to a medical test next week.

“Mhango’s switch to Chiefs is as good as done as two clubs have agreed on terms of sale, sources close to the player have told FARPost. He was going to undergo his medical test at Chiefs headquarters on Friday,” the report said.

“However, this has been rescheduled due to the club’s trip to Botswana, where they will square off with Township Rollers in an international friendly. And he’s now likely to continue with medical next week when the club is back in Johannesburg,” the report added.

HOW MOLEFI NTSEKI WILL PLAY

Following the appointment of Molefi Ntseki to replace Arthur Zwane as head coach, a former associate has described what Chiefs supporters should expect.

Having worked with Ntseki in the lower division in 2008 at African Warriors, Bafana Bafana’s interim head coach in the COSAFA Cup, Morena Ramoreboli, says Amakhosi fans should anticipate high-octane football.

“Coach Ntseki likes to play a high-tempo game, high-intensity football, and obviously, looking at the signings the club has made now, I think Given Msimango will give him that option of starting from the back and being able to play those diagonal and vertical passes,” Ramoreboli said as quoted by FARPost.

Meanwhile, Ntseki’s first major test will be at home to Chippa United on Sunday 6 August.
