Fans return: Provinces where Kaizer Chiefs will pull big crowds this season

Fans are coming back to stadiums! This means that we will see Kaizer Chiefs draw massive crowds that are strong enough to win any game.

Kaizer Chiefs fans are ready to show us what stadium support really looks like. Amakhosi will travel to the Western Cape and KwaZulu Natal.

BIG CROWDS: KAIZER CHIEFS FANS TO PACK STADIUMS

As The South African confirmed this week, the PSL announced the return of fans to stadiums after the COVID-19 pandemic enforced a two-year hiatus.

While Amakhosi bizarrely struggle to attract big crowds at home in Gauteng at the FNB Stadium, it is on the road where the venues hit capacity crowds.

From the 10 remaining league games, assuming the arbitration ruling will not be overturned, Kaizer Chiefs will visit Stellenbosch FC and Golden Arrows.

We all know how Chiefs fans pack the Cape Town Stadium as well as Moses Mabhida. Imagine the expected demand after a two-year break?

Here are the fixtures:

  • Stellenbosch – Saturday 23 April
  • Golden Arrows – Date to be confirmed.

FURMAN REFLECTS ON THE PSL: ‘CHIEFS AND PIRATES WERE NOTHING

Dean Furman has said Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates were harmless in the PSL as SuperSport United dominated Mzansi cups. Isn’t he right?

Furman is probably a PSL legend. The former all-action central midfielder was so class he captained SuperSport United to two Nedbank Cup titles and the Telkom Knockout.

Reflecting on his time in Mzansi as he edges closer to his retirement, Furman believes his time in the PSL was nothing but a bright success.

The former number six says it was only Mamelodi Sundowns who posed a real threat to Matsatsantsa a Pitori.
