KAIZER CHIEFS PROMOTE MFUNDO VILAKAZI
After showing his readiness in the Carling All Stars match against Stellenbosch FC last weekend, the 18-year-old Vilakazi has earned himself a spot in the first team dressing room at Naturena.

The news was confirmed by Amakhosi’s DStv Diski Challenge coach, Vela Khumalo, as reported by Unplayable.

Vilakazi, better known as “Obrigado” in Soweto plays his football as a left-footed attacking midfielder/winger, has six goals in four games for the reserve team.
JERSEY NUMBER SWAP?
After taking his first training with the senior team, “Obrigado” was spotted with the jersey number 5 on his shorts, which belongs to Sibongiseni Mthethwa.
Does it mean Mthethwa has changed to a different number for the second half of the season? We shall find out in due course.
Meanwhile, Chiefs’ next league game will be at home to TS Galaxy at the FNB Stadium on 13 February.
