Final hours: Kappa to launch Chiefs kit

This is some exciting stuff. Kappa South Africa have confirmed the launch date for Kaizer Chiefs’ brand new kit for 2023/24.

Kaizer Chiefs’ new Kappa kit is coming in a few hours, the new designers have confirmed.

KAIZER CHIEFS KAPPA KIT DATE CONFIRMED ON TWITTER

Following the kit’s leak via social media earlier this month, Kappa has nevertheless revealed that the kit will be unveiled on Tuesday, 25 July at 21:30.

“Exciting times ahead! Only 1 day left until the much-awaited launch of the sports jersey!” the Italian brand said on Monday.

Additionally, Amakhosi further confirmed the news on Tuesday with a snazzy video that mixes old and new school flavours.

THABANI AUSTIN DUBE LEAVES AMAKHOSI

In other news, Thabani Austin Dube is no longer a Glamour Boy.

After making just one appearance for Amakhosi last season, the 30-year-old Dube has been let go.

Austin Dube has left Kaizer Chiefs after reaching an agreement with the Club to facilitate his exit,” the report said.

“The 30-year-old defender signed for Amakhosi from Richards Bay in July 2021. We wish him all the best!

So who else has left the Glamour Boys?

Dube becomes the fourth footballer out of the Naturena gate. Others included Erick Mathoho, Phathutshedzo Nange, Siyabonga Ngezana, and Cole Alexandra.
