BRUCE BVUMA TO GRAB KAIZER CHIEFS’ NUMBER ONE SPOT?

After brilliantly putting his hand up in the 1-0 win over Moroka Swallows last weekend, Amakhosi’s interim coach Johnson has dropped a message for the 28-year-old.

“Eight games [without a clean sheet], wow! Look, it is not about Bvuma, it is about the team in front of him,” Johnson told the media.

“Yes, we came [from the] away [game] with no goals conceded but I think the whole team has to be congratulated.]

“Yes he got a chance, he has to make sure he keeps it and his head doesn’t go to his body and he’s able to maintain it,” Johnson concluded.

WHAT NEXT FOR AMAKHOSI?

Following last weekend’s 1-0 win over Moroka Swallows, Amakhosi will be inactive this weekend before driving to Limpopo to battle Polokwane City next weekend.
