Kaizer Chiefs: Johnson to select new midfielder

New Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson has to do some problem-solving tonight.

Following the 2-1 loss to Golden Arrows a fortnight ago, Amakhosi have another job in the DStv Premiership this evening.

The Urban Warriors are in Johannesburg to battle Chiefs at the FNB Stadium at 19:30.

SIBONGISENI MTHETHWA

As far as team news, Chiefs’ newest midfield cog, Mthethwa, will not be available for selection. The 29-year-old will serve a one-match suspension after accumulating four yellow cards over recent games.

Having played with a midfield-three of Mthethwa, Yusuf Maart and Edson Castillo, coach Johnson will look at the likes of Samkelo Zwane and Siyethemba Sithebe against Spurs tonight.

Another option could be changing the system to a two-man midfield and add an extra number 10.
