Kaizer Chiefs have to forget about the bad start to the season and even the somewhat okay finish to 2024. The second round is coming up.

Cavin Johson‘s side finished the first round with a decent three wins out of five games.
The results place Chiefs in sixth place with 24 points, which is a massive 14 points behind log-leaders and champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
Coming up in the start of the second round is a home game before a trip to KwaZulu Natal.

Additionally, Amakhosi have a Nedbank Cup last 32 game at home to Milford FC on Saturday, 25 February.
In related news, Orlando Pirates will be hosting Chiefs in the Soweto Derby next month.
The last two editions were two back-to-back wins for the team in back. Pirates won 2-1 in May 2023’s Nedbank Cup semi-final, while also winning the league match 1-0 in November last year.
As confirmed by Pirates and the Premier Soccer League, the next Soweto Derby against Chiefs will be at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, 9 March.
Additionally, Pirates have announced that tickets for the event have gone on sale.
