DStv Premiership powerhouse Kaizer Chiefs are still in the process of finding a new head coach. Dan Malesela has admitted the job is irresistible.

Just who is going to coach Kaizer Chiefs next? Even Kaizer Motaung probably doesn’t know yet.

DAN MALESELA COMMENTS ON KAIZER CHIEFS JOB

Having made his name as a ball possession-based tactician at the likes of Chippa United and most successfully at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, Malesela stole the hearts of many Amakhosi supporters.

Speaking to the media since joining Baroka FC in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, Malesela says talks linking him to Chiefs have been inconsistent, but given the opportunity, nobody would really say no to Amakhosi.

“I’ve heard that a lot [credit for beautiful football],” Malesela said on Metro FM.

“Even one time I went to a Chiefs game, before the match, everybody was saying: ‘Hey coach, we heard the news that you are coming to Chiefs and then Chiefs won 3-0’ and they didn’t say anything afterwards.

“I don’t want to disrespect my club.

“But any team that is good and that has resources like Kaizer Chiefs, everybody would want to coach there. I don’t want to disrespect my club, I have a contract with them,” the former Sundowns star concluded.
