Days after securing his dream move to Kaizer Chiefs, Pule Mmodi has been threatened with a law suit by his former agent!

Mmodi completed a blockbuster move from Golden Arrows to the Glamour Boys ahead of next season.

But according to his former agent Solomon Seobe, Mmodi double played him and had another agent to represent him with his move to Chiefs.

A furious Seobe, who only cut ties with Mmodi officially on 30 June, has confirmed that he’s planning to sue his former client Pule Mmodi.

“He lied to me when he said that he was alone, only for me to find out that he was with another agent called Parable Hlatshwayo, whom I don’t know.” – Seobe told Citizen.

“I was going to let this go but not after I found out that he was represented while he told me he signed to Kaizer Chiefs without an agent. It is betrayal of the highest order because our contract ended in June last week. When I get a copy of the contract, I will know how much to sue for.

“I’ll see if I should take the matter to the high court or the dispute resolution chamber. I have a right to get the contract because I’m directly involved in this. I want to show other players that you must not betray your agent when you see the promised land.”

In other news, legendary former Kaizer Chiefs striker Pollen Ndlanya believes all PSL teams should have a striker/attacking coach.

This comes after the league failed to record a single top goal scorer with the award being shared by Peter Shalulile and Khanyisa Mayo.

The winning duo finished the season on a meager 12 goals each and that’s concerning according to Ndlanya.

“Look, this thing is happening everywhere. Benni McCarthy was roped in at a big club, Manchester United to help in the strikeforce. Look now at (Marcus) Rashford what he is doing.” Ndlanya explained regarding ‘attacking coaches’ as quoted by SoccerLaduma.

“It’s something our so-called big bosses must look up to. They much check what is the problem. For me I don’t think they are worried what is the problem. I feel sorry for the supporters.

“Now the defenders are so relaxed, they are in a picnic, they know that, ‘Ah, there’s no danger there’. It’s a problem.”
