Responding to a question on why there are no Chiefs players in his squad, Broos said no player is good enough to play for Bafana Bafana at the moment.

Now, speaking after Amakhosi’s 2-0 win over Stellenbosch FC on Wednesday, Ntseki said it’s Broos’ decision as to who he wants in his Bafana Bafana squad.

Ntseki further said Broos himself has never given the club a template of the players he requires in the Bafana Bafana setup.

And he added that it’s unfortunate if Broos feels none of Chiefs players deserves a place in the current Bafana Bafana team.

Furthermore, Ntseki said as a team, they are motivated to work hard and prove to everyone and themselves that they have quality.

KAIZER CHIEFS COACH NTSEKI HITS BACK AT HUGO BROOS

“It’s a decision by the national team coach,” said Ntseki.

“We can’t question him because we don’t know what he’s looking for in a player, because he’s never given us a template to say ‘if you want to be in the national team, these are the requirements’.

“If ever he feels our players don’t deserve to be in the national team, it’s just unfortunate.”

“But we are very motivated because we have to work hard to show everybody and ourselves that we have quality in the team,” concluded Ntseki.
