Kaizer Chiefs get their 2023/24 DStv Premiership campaign underway against Chippa United this afternoon.

Molefi Ntseki takes charge of his first official Amakhosi match as head coach at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Ntseki will be desperate to start the season off with nothing less than a victory against a surprisingly confident Chippa United side.

“A good start is important in anything. In the league, it is very important for us. You want to start with a positive result and a positive style of play. Just to set us up right going forward.” – Frosler said as quoted by TimesLive.

“The expectation is always to win a trophy every season. Yes Kaizer Chiefs have been struggling in the past but we’ve got another opportunity this season to go out and get a trophy.

“We’ve got four competitions that we can challenge for, so we just have to grind and take each game as it comes. Hopefully come the end of the season we’d have lifted one or two trophies.”
