Kaizer Chiefs midfielder linked with surprise exit!

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly considering offloading one of the club’s struggling midfielders at the end of the season!

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe has been linked with a surprise exit at Naturena.

Sithebe’s contract comes to a close in June 2024, and the latest reports suggest his contract won’t be extended!

The 31-year-old midfielder made 26 appearances for the Glamour Boys last season however he’s struggling at Naturena this season.

Sithebe has made just two appearances for Kaizer Chiefs so far this season and an exit is on the cards!

“Last year was not good for him (Sithebe) with injuries and he has been out for too long.” a Citizen report read.

“The unfortunate part for Sithebe is that his contract is ending when the season is over and it doesn’t look good for him. To be frank with you, I don’t think he will get an extension.”

In other news, former Kaizer Chiefs star Siyabonga Ngezana has returned back to Romania following a brief holiday in South Africa.

The FCSB defender has been linked with a blockbuster move to French Ligue 1 side Lorient in recent weeks.

This comes after a string of promising performances for Romanian giants FCSB following his move to the club at the beginning of the season.

According to reports, FCSB rejected a R105 million offer for Ngezana from Lorient.

While the negotiations drag on, the Kaizer Chiefs academy graduate has already returned back to Romania and is preparing for tomorrow’s match against UTA Arad.

Former Amakhosi star Ngezana returns back to Europe

According to SoccerLaduma, Siyabonga Ngezana has safely returned back to Romania and is preparing for Monday’s Romanian Liga 1 clash against UTA Arad.

FCSB currently lead the way on the log standings with 44 points from 21 matches.
