Kaizer Chiefs linked with European striker! – Report

Kaizer Chiefs are interested in a international striker who has been in red-hot form for his club in Europe this season.

Slovakian striker, Robert Polievka has been linked with a potential blockbuster move to Naturena.

Moreover, this is the second time he has been linked with Amakhosi.

CHIEFS INTERESTED IN SLOVAKIAN STRIKER

Amakhosi are considering making an offer for Slovakian striker, Polievka.

In fact, they could attempt to lure him to Naturena during the current January transfer window.

Meaning, Chiefs have reignited interest in the 27-year-old who they attempted to sign three years ago

“There will be changes in terms of playing personnel. It could be this transfer window period or at the end of the season but Robert (Polievka) is one of the players that the team is already looking at,” the insider stated on SoccerLaduma.

SECOND BID FOR POLIEVKA

As previously mentioned, Amakhosi were previously interested in signing Polievka. Three years ago, they wanted to sign him but he had just moved clubs.

“This is not the first time as three years ago the scouts identified but things didn’t work out because he was changing teams,” the source added.

However, the Soweto giants are in the market for a striker and his numbers speak volumes. He has scored 10 goals and registered six assists in 18 appearances for MFK Dukla Banska Bystrica this season. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that they are looking at potentially signing him.

“But now they have reopened their interest as their European connections and scouts are working on that. So, yes there are some pointers on the renewed interest in Robert (Polievka) from the club,” he added.
