Kaizer Chiefs legend urges club to sign this PSL star

Kaizer Chiefs legend Willard Katsande has urged the club to sign a fellow Zimbabwean star!

According to the former Amakhosi midfielder who racked up over 300 appearances at the club, THIS midfielder has what it takes to don the mighty Amakhosi jersey.

Katsande believes Motsepe Foundation Championship side Venda Football Academy’s midfielder Tatenda Tavengwa is the only player that can fill his void at Naturena.

“Obviously I’m happy for Tavengwa. It’s not easy to be recognised by a team like Kaizer Chiefs.” Katsande told FARPost.

“He should not be limited because once the deal materialises, he has us to get all the information he wants to survive. I wouldn’t want to instruct him to play the way we layed at Chiefs.

“He has to bring a new dimension to the table. Chances are high that he will succeed at Amakhosi because he has us to bank on.”

In other news, DR Congo star midfielder Fabrice Ngoma is open to joining Kaizer Chiefs ahead of next season.

The talented midfielder has previously been linked with a move to the Glamour Boys however his long-term contract at Al Hilal was a major stumbling block in the past.

The good news however is that the 29-year-old DR Congo international is now a free agent!

“Sources suggest that Kaizer Chiefs have been alerted to Ngoma’s availability. And if they are still interested in his services, they have the opportunity to secure his signature.” a Citizen report read.

“The club will need to make a decision on whether to pursue the player or explore other options for their squad.

“A source close to the matter revealed that Ngoma is keen on joining Chiefs, considering them to be his preferred choice.”
