Kaizer Chiefs legend sends stern warning to two Amakhosi stars

Two of Kaizer Chiefs’ top rising talents have been issued with a stern warning by a former Amakhosi legend!

Kaizer Chiefs youngsters Samkelo Zwane and Mduduzi Shabalala enjoyed stellar breakout campaigns last season.

Zwane, 21-years-old, made 15 appearances under Arthur Zwane last season while Shabalala, 19-years-old made 23 appearances.

The rising duo have the world at their feet however former Amakhosi star Mandla Masango has issued a stern warning to them!

Kaizer Chiefs starlets urged to remain humble!

“They are good and talented youngsters who need to just focus and learn,” Masango told TimesLive.

“They must know that irrespective of whether you are getting five or six man of the matches you must remember that you are still a youngster.

“You need to remain humble and perfect your craft until they become a complete product.”

Arthur Zwane’s Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Dillon Sheppard is set to travel to Ireland to complete his coaching badges.

The former Bidvest Wits youth coach is set to join an elite list of South African coaches by obtaining the UEFA Pro License coaching licence.

Sheppard joined the Glamour Boys in 2021 when Gavin Hunt was appointed as head coach at the club.

He remained on as an assistant coach following the departure of Hunt, serving under both Stuart Baxter and Arthur Zwane.

Amakhosi assistant coach to obtain UEFA Pro licence

“Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Dillon Sheppard is set to make his way to Ireland where he will complete his coaching badges.” a SoccerLaduma report read.

“‘Sheppy’ as the former winger is affectionately known, will travel to Ireland where he will study for his UEFA Pro License coaching badge.

“The retired winger will be in Europe for close to two weeks to complete a coaching course to earn the world-recognised coaching license.”
