Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Njabulo Blom has revealed that he doesn’t have a problem playing in different positions at the club.

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Njabulo Blom has revealed that he doesn’t have a problem playing in different positions at the club.

In fact, he sees that as an opportunity to learn and grow as a player given the fact that he’s still new in the game.

Blom had been playing as a midfield anchor for Chiefs but he started the game against Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 as a right-back.

“I still have a lot to learn. So, I take whatever position I am required to play as an opportunity to grow. It’s a learning curve for me in my career,” Blom told journalists on Tuesday.

“I just want to keep working hard, whether they play me as a midfielder or a right-back, I will give my best,” he said.

“I always appreciate the game time that I get because I know how important it is for my growth as a young player,” admitted Blom.

Giving his assessment of the team’s performance so far, Blom admitted that Chiefs have done well in their games against Orlando Pirates and Sundowns.

The 21-year-old feels Chiefs are heading into the right direction as everyone in the team is willing to follow Stuart Baxter’s instructions in an attempt to win silverware.

“I think we have done well as a team in both games we have played so far against Pirates and Sundowns,” said Blom.

“I feel like we know where we are going as a team. We are willing to work hard at training and follow the instructions of the coach and his technical team.

“We are working hard to get good results and win some trophies for the supporters,” he revealed.
