Kaizer Chiefs: FULL LIST of players who could leave for FREE!

Several Kaizer Chiefs stars contracts are about to expire, including two club veterans. We take a look at the full list of players who could leave for FREE.

Amakhosi management have some big decisions ahead of them.

Therefore, a plethora of talent are at risk of leaving for free if they do not earn contract extensions.

FULL LIST OF CHIEFS PLAYERS WITH EXPIRING CONTRACTS

• Bruce Bvuma
• Brandon Peterson
• Itumeleng Khune
• S’fiso Hlanti
• Edmilson Dove
• Nkosingiphile Ngcobo
• Siyethembe Sithebe

All of these players contracts are set to expire soon, according to Goal.

Meaning, they could sign pre-contract with club or leave on a free deal if their contracts expire.

Khune’s contract is set to expire soon and although he was open to extending his contract his recent actions may have jeopardized this. So, we could see the Amakhosi legend and fan-favourite heading out of Naturena.

Furthermore, Peterson has leaked in a couple of soft goals lately. Prompting frustration amongst fans. Amakhosi management will have to decide if they still have faith in him or if they want to revert back to former Bafana Bafana keeper Bruce Bvuma.

With that being said, the same applies for Bvuma. With management inviting Lungile Nkosi to training during Khune’s suspension and Karabo Molefe recently promoted into the senior side, management are likely to only keep one of these men (Peterson or Bvuma).

Meanwhile, another club veteran in Hlanti is also likely heading out when his contract expires. They have already identified Fawaaz Basadien from Stellenbosch FC as his potential replacement.

CONTRACT EXTENSIONS ON THE CARDS

Edmilson Dove is also fast establishing himself as a regular starter.

So, he is likely to be on of the players on this list who is offered a contract extension. Moreover, Ngcobo is also earmarked to achieve big things at this club. Don’t be surprised if both men are offered long-term deals in the future.
