Kaizer Chiefs | Hunt to reshuffle as FIVE players miss Black Leopards trip

Gavin Hunt will again have to reshuffle his Amakhosi starting line-up as he will be without FIVE players for the trip to Black Leopards.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt will again have to reshuffle his starting line-up as he will be without FIVE players for the trip to Black Leopards on Wednesday.

The match at Thohoyandou Stadium is at 15:00.

Four of the five players who will miss the match have had a bigger role to play in the Amakhosi team this season.

And they are Willard Katsande, Njabulo Blom, Khama Billiat and Dumisani Zuma.

Both Katsande and Blom are suspended while Billiat is nursing a long-term injury, and could could miss the rest of the season’s action.

Zuma hasn’t recovered from the injury he suffered in the first leg of the CAF Champions League against Simba SC.

The other player that will not form part of the matchday squad is young Lebohang Lesako who has been unfortunate with injuries since his promotion to the first team.

Hunt lamented the absence of the abovementioned players but admitted this has been the story of Chiefs this season.

“We have had endless problems for every game. Players have not all been available right from the start of the season,” Hunt told the Amakhosi website.

“That is what it is, we just have to take this game in front of us on Wednesday.

“We are going to have a lot of players out on Wednesday due to suspension and injury. SO, we will have to work with those who are available,” added Hunt.

Chiefs could move from position 11 to eight on the PSL log with a win over bottom-placed Black Leopards.
