Kaizer Chiefs veteran goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune appears to be in great shape as the team continues to prepare for the new season.

Khune is training alongside fellow colleagues Brandon Petersen, Karabo Molefe and Bruce Bvuma, and he shared a picture of him catching a shot at the top of the corner.

The fact that the 35-year-old didn’t see enough game time in the past two seasons hasn’t deterred him as he continues to work hard behind the scenes.

As he enters the final year of his contract with Chiefs, Khune understands the importance of doubling his efforts and getting as many matches as possible under his belt to earn a new deal.

Khune previously said that he wants to play until he is 40-years-old, meaning he still has five more years as a professional.

But for him to continue his legacy at Chiefs, he knows he has to continue contributing positively towards the club’s success in the upcoming campaign.
