Dolly and teammate Edmilson Dove are yet to feature for Amakhosi this season but Ntseki confirmed that the duo have started training with the Soweto giants having fully recovered from their injuries.

Dolly yet to play a game for Chiefs this season

Kaizer Chiefs are gearing up for their fourth league game of the 2023/24 season when they host AmaZulu FCat FNB Stadium this coming Saturday. Besides Dolly and Dove, Ntseki will be without new man Ranga Chivaviro.

“We still have some long-term injuries. I think you saw Ranga Chivaviro leaving the field very early against TS Galaxy. He’s going to a rehab of some kind. So in the next two weeks, he’ll be available for selection,” Ntseki told the media as per Goal.

“The other player who has just started training with the team is Keagan Dolly, he has been out for a very long time. Edmilson Dove also started training with the team this week. And hopefully, when we come back from the Fifa break, we will have a full squad and all the players available,” Ntseki said.

Chiefs will have Ashley du Preez back after missing the TS Galaxy match.

“The team will be delighted to have Ashley back after missing the last match due to ill health. The talisman has scored two goals in the three matches he played this season,” the club stated on their website.

Ntseki asking for fans to rely behind the team

Amakhosi are yet to win a match this season in the league, having lost twice and drawn once in their three matches so far. Ntseki is already feeling the heat and has pleaded with Chiefs supporters to be patient with him.

“You look at what happened to Pitso Mosimane when he was at Sundowns. I think it shows that at times when we’re not patient with ourselves, we end up maybe becoming too hard on ourselves as things are not going according to our plan,” said the Kaizer Chiefs coach.
