Kaizer Chiefs fire blanks against Royal AM!

Kaizer Chiefs played to a disappointing 0-0 daw at home against Royal AM in a league match which was played at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Coach Molefi Ntseki handed new signing Jasond Gonzalez his first start while George Matlou also cracked the nod in Mduduzi Mdantsane’s absence.

However, the two players had little impact until they were replaced midway through the second half by Ntseki.

Gonzalez’s only meaningful attack was a towering header that was brilliantly saved by Royal AM goalkeeper Xolani Ngcobo.

In all honesty, Chiefs had some good goalscoring chances, both in the first and second half compared to Royal AM.

Edson Castillo hit the crossbar in thee first half while Saile, almost immediately after coming on, also hit the crossbar in the second half.
