A Kaizer Chiefs fan has made his feelings known on the club’s current plight, and he’s got quite a solid theory involving the Nedbank Cup.
Is he right? Would it be a bad thing, in the long-term, if Chiefs won the Nedbank Cup this season? His theory is that it would “prolong the lack of tactical direction” which seems to be a pretty clear dig at head coach Arthur Zwane. Fans love silverware, sure, and so do club board members. A trophy might well buy Arthur Zwane time, but does he deserve it?
