Kaizer Chiefs keen on Afcon Bafana Bafana star

In the latest issue of iDiski Times, it’s reported that Chiefs kept a close eye on developments at Afcon. In particular, Bafana Bafana midfielder Sphephelo Sithole jumped out at the base of Hugo Broos’ midfield. He’s currently on the books of Portuguese second-tier side Tondela, who sounds resigned to losing the man nicknamed ‘Yaya’. Sithole has been in Portugal since 2017 when he started his journey with Sporting in Lisbon. The 24-year-old midfield general has a long-term contract with Tondela but if they can attract offers from top-tier sides, it may be too tempting to turn forthcoming offers down.

The plot thickens with Billiat

Meanwhile, former Amakhosi star Khama Billiat is still on the lookout for a new club. He landed back in Zimbabwe on Tuesday with rumours emerging that a popular prophet Walter Magaya, owner of the top-flight team Yadah Stars, has made his move for the 33-year-old.
