One thing is clear – Amakhosi management have placed a heavy focus on their attacking firepower. The likes of Chivaviro, Mmodi, Potsane and Gonzales are all attacking players.

Therefore, they step in for Bimenyimana, Billiat and Sekgota.

Furthermore, even Mdantsane and Castillo are relatively attack-minded midfielders. The difference between Amakhosi’s frustrating and trophy-less season last year and Orlando Pirates and Sundowns success was their attack. Sundowns had Peter Shalulile (23) and Cassius Mailula (15).

In contrast, Pirates had Monnapule Saleng notching up double-figures (15 goals and 11 assists). This is something Amakhosi have not had for several seasons. Hopefully, Chivaviro or Gonzales can change this (or even Ashley Du Preez).
