Kaizer Chiefs are linked with several red-hot talents from across the DStv Premiership and outside of South Africa. Here’s the FULL LIST of January transfer targets.

Amakhosi management have been monitoring a multitude of promising talents from across the PSL.

Meaning, they want to build a squad filled with depth across every position. Let’s check out all EIGHT January transfer targets.

HLANTI’S LONG-TERM REPLACEMENT

Stellenbosch FC left back Basadien and his agent are keen on letting him go to Chiefs with Amakhosi having expressed interest in him. Therefore, this is a likely move with S’fiso Hlanti entering the latter stages of his career. So, Amakhosi management have identified the need for a long-term replacement and Basadien is one of the targets they have identified.

Furthermore, Cross and Hussein are also being assessed as potential replacements. Cross has been linked with Amakhosi for months now and they have reported renewed interest in the Arrows man. Meanwhile, Hussein’s name has also come up in discussions pertaining to Hlanti’s long-term replacement. The Simba SC target is one of two players linked outside of South Africa linked with Amakhosi. Finally, Baroka FC defender Moerane is also being monitored.

Chippa United defender Nwabili has been linked with Chiefs and they are willing to let him go, according to recent reports on SoccerLaduma.

This could open the door to a successful deal between the two clubs. Moreover,

CHIEFS LOOKING FOR SPARK ON ATTACK

Amakhosi management have identified the need for more depth, creativity and spark on attack. Therefore, they are in the market for a new striker and attacking midfielder. Stellies midfielder Mgaga is tone of the players being targeted by management (at the time of publishing).

“They are looking at strengthening the attacking part of their team. You have seen that the team has a good defensive midfield and now they want to balance it with the attacking midfielders that’s why they are looking at Nhlanhla (Mgaga) from Stellenbosch FC,” the report read on SoccerLaduma.

Rayners is one of Amakhosi’s main targets. He has five goals in 13 appearances for SuperSport United this season. Finally, Percy Tau’s former teammate, Bwalya has reignited interest from the Soweto giants having previously been linked with the club.
