Chiefs defender Msimango issues apology to hurting fans

Defender Given Msimango sends an apology as he understands the pain felt by Kaizer Chiefs fans and says it’s hurting.

Chiefs turn to the DStv Premiership match against Moroka Swallows and Msimango says they respect the embattled side.

Amakhosi are still hurting and licking their wounds after their Nedbank Cup loss to Milford FC and Msimango apologises.

He says this as Chiefs are on the verge of finishing their ninth season without a single trophy – Msimango issues an apology.

Moreover, Msimango echoes Cavin Johnson’s sentiments that they must fight for a decent spot in the league.

CHIEFS FANS ARE HURTING: MSIMANGO UNDERSTANDS THE PAIN

The former TS Galaxy defender, Msimango says it hurts to see the Chiefs fans coming to the stadium but go home hurting.

“What hurts most is seeing the hurt from our supporters,” says Chiefs defender Msimango in his apology.

“They are human beings who use their hard-earned money to support us in their numbers.

“We interact with them daily.

“And we can see the hurt in their eyes, whether it is a petrol attendant or a retailer at a shopping centre.

“It is a difficult time in terms of our performances not working out and losing big games, like we did with the Nedbank Cup.”

Moreover, Msimango says joining Chiefs was a no-brainer as he grew up loving the club – he issues an apology.

Msimango also looks at their next match against the Dube Birds, stating that Chiefs are aware of their struggles.

“Coming here was a no-brainer for me, this is a club I supported growing up,” adds the Chiefs defender, Msimango.

“My whole family are Chiefs supporters.

“I came here as a young man, I still have a lot of growing to do.

“For me it is a huge learning process, to understand true pressure when you play in terms of results.

“I have never had any regrets.

“We have read and heard a lot of things coming from the Swallows camp.”
