Well travelled PSL coach Clinton Larsen believes Kaizer Chiefs made a good decision by appointing Molefi Ntseki as their new head coach.

Ntseki takes over from Arthur Zwane who was demoted back to an assistant coach at the club.

Former Bloemfontein Celtic, Maritzburg United, Golden Arrows and Chippa United coach Clinton Larsen has since explained why Ntseki’s appointment makes sense.

Larsen backs Ntseki to be a success at Kaizer Chiefs

“I wasn’t surprised by Chiefs’ decision to appoint Ntseki as head coach.” Larsen said as quoted by Citizen.

“He is a knowledgeable coach who, with the right support, can surpass expectations. His management style has always impressed me.

“I have no doubt that Ntseki will create a fantastic atmosphere at Kaizer Chiefs. I believe that Ntseki is up for the task.

“Let’s not shoot the man down even before he starts. In a nutshell, I think Ntseki will bring a very fast attacking style of football at Chiefs.”

In other news, Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Dumisani Zuma looks set to be a free agent once again.

The former Bloemfontein Celtic star was released by Chiefs at the end of last season due to reported disciplinary issues.

Football is an unforgiving sport, especially when it comes to discipline however AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu rushed to give the Amakhosi bad-boy a second chance.

Zuma however failed to re-pay his boss with anything on the field of play, scoring just one goal in 23 appearances for Usuthu.

The latest reports suggest the club have run out of patience with him and he’s on his way out at AmaZulu. Zuma spent just one season at the club, after joining them from Kaizer Chiefs.

“Dumisani Zuma is expected to leave AmaZulu upon the expiry of his contract at the end of June having failed to stop a disappointing trend about his game time contribution.” a SoccerLaduma report read.
