However, recent reports claim that there could be plans in place for him to replace Ntseki as Chiefs head coach.

“With Molefi Ntseki struggling to get the team into a winning groove, there’s chatter that if things don’t improve soon, Johnson might be the man to take over the reins,” the report read on Phakaaati.

NTSEKI UNDER HUGE PRESSURE

Fans were chanting “Ntseki must go” while Kaizer Motaung tried to console them for yet another loss during their 1-0 DStv Premiership loss to Gavin Hunt’s SuperSport United last week.

Furthermore, he had to be guided by security and police with shields. Amakhosi are out of the MTN8 after losing 3-2 on aggregate to Sundowns in the semi-final which adds further pressure to Ntseki. Meaning, their last shot at silverware is in the Nedbank Cup and Carling Cup with Amakhosi seemingly to far behind Sundowns in the DStv Premiership already. Amakhosi sit in 7th position, on eight points, 13 points behind The Brazilians.
