Kaizer Chiefs now face a long, indirect flight to the neutral venue in Burkina Faso to take on Wydad in a fixture which was postponed from earlier in the month.

Kaizer Chiefs were then due to return and face Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in a DStv Premiership clash 48 hours later on Tuesday, 2 March at the Thohoyandou Stadium.

However, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has sensibly confirmed the postponement of the match to a later yet to be confirmed date.

The postponement means that Gavin Hunt’s team will now play three consecutive CAF Champions League matches.
