Kaizer Chiefs’ attacking midfielder Dumisani Zuma has been spotted at training looking like a fit and happy player.

DUMISANI ZUMA EXPECTED BACK KAIZER CHIEFS’ PLAYING TEAM

He’s truly back. Dumisani Zuma has returned from suspension over ill behaviour. The Pietermaritzburg-born star was nearly kicked out of Naturena after embarrassing the very proud club last year.

The former Bloemfontein Celtic player was posted by the club on social media on Wednesday. In the image, the 26-year-old is seen outpacing his veteran teammate Bernard Parker during training.

It is all good to be quicker than Paker at training. But can he also do the same to the likes of Rushine De Reuck or Olisa Ndah in a game? We will see.

WHY MSHOLOZI WAS SUSPENDED BY THE CLUB

As The South African reported last month, Zuma was sent away after he was arrested by traffic officers for drunk driving in November.

The midfielder was suspended by the club and placed in a rehabilitation program after he was arrested for drunk driving in November 2021.

“Zuma is back with the team. I saw him training with the rest of the squad on Monday. They have given him a lifeline to showcase his talent again.” a source told Sowetan regarding the star.

“He’s still going through the rehabilitation process. It looks like the club deducted a certain amount of money from his salary as a fine.’’

“Yes, he [Zuma] is training with the team again but I don’t think it’s for me to comment further when Kaizer Chiefs have published every step of the way. I am not at liberty to give more details,” his agent added.
