Kaizer Chiefs have ground out a pair of unspectacular wins in the PSL. Next on the agenda for Arthur Zwane, fans and management will be for the Glamour Boys to live up to their nickname and start blowing teams away with style and panache.

Making his side more entertaining is the next priority for Arthur Zwane and his technical team. But how does he go about it?

Well, one way is to put more attackers on the bench. Zwane experimented with this exact tactic in Amakhosi’s slender weekend win against Richards Bay. He deployed both Christian Saile and Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana. However, more attackers doesn’t necessarily mean more attacking output and more entertainment. Zwane must strike a balance. It will be a gradual process though and fans must be willing to wait.

MDU SHABALALA READY FOR THE FIRST TEAM
One massive bonus for Arthur Zwane is the emergence of 19-year-old Mduduzi Shabalala. The youngster has looked comfortable in the senior side and has the flamboyance and flair that can take Amakhosi to the next level. Mdu isn’t ready to do it on his own though. Chiefs will need to recruit one or two more players who can help them play more freely. But, aside from on-pitch personnel, there needs to be a subtle change in their footballing philosophy. Zwane needs to let this team cook.

This is surely how Kaizer Chiefs fans feel right now. Take the shackles off and they might just be able to make their supporters dance again. Is Zwane the man to facilitate it?
