Teboho Mokoena has reignited interest from clubs previously linked with him. So, are Kaizer Chiefs interested in signing him?

Several clubs have lined up for Teboho Mokoena’s signature after his red-hot Afcon. Is Kaizer Chiefs one of them?

Mokoena was one of Bafana Bafana’s top performers during their recent Afcon campaign.
Therefore, clubs from Europe and many other clubs, including African giants Al Ahly, have shown interest in signing him. Moreover, clubs that were previously interested in him have reemerged with renewed interest.

CHIEFS INTERESTED IN MOKOENA?
Mokoena has plenty of options as he assesses his return to Mamelodi Sundowns.
“A lot of teams have made an enquiry over his services, and there others who showed interest before, but never followed up. Now they are back after what they have seen from him at Afcon,” the relevant insider stated on Phakaaati.

Now, we know that Amakhosi was linked with him before he signed for Mamelodi Sundowns.
So, could they be one of the clubs who reignited their interest? Quite possible. However, there have been no confirmed statements coming out of Naturena Cavin Johnson and Amakhosi management adamant to build with the current squad they have.
BAFANA BAFANA MIDFIELDER COULD BE HEADING TO EUROPE
According to sources close to the player, he is unlikely to pursue interest in Pitso Mosimane’s former side, Al Ahly. Furthermore, the clubs that previously wanted him are unlikely to sign him. This is because he is considering a move to Europe.
“But, the only offers that will be considered will be at leagues in England, France, the Netherlands, and Germany,” the source added.
