Bafana Bafana forward confirms Kaizer Chiefs interest

A certain Bafana Bafana man has confirmed that Kaizer Chiefs reached out to try and sign him.

A certain Bafana Bafana man has confirmed that Kaizer Chiefs reached out to try and sign him.

Mihlali Mayambela was approached by Amakhosi at the end of last season.

However, the move did not materialize with Mayambela instead opting to move abroad to Cyprus where he now plays for Aris Limassol.

Furthermore, Mayambela received interest from several clubs.

However, it was not to be as he opted against joining the Soweto giants.

“Yes, but it was not only Chiefs. I had many other options from different countries but I had to make a decision at the end of the day,” Mayambela stated on iDiskiTimes.

MAYAMBELA THE HERO FOR SA

Mayambela scored the winner for South Africa against Liberia.

Meaning, his goal was the one that earned Hugo Broos’ side qualification into AFCON.
