Happy Mashiane got injured during Amakhosi’s Macufe Cup match against Royal AM.

“We were out in Bloemfontein in the Macufe Cup match, round about the 70th minute I wanted to reach out for the ball then I pulled my hamstring. The diagnosis from the doctor was they told me that I have a grade one hamstring injury,” Mashiane told SoccerLaduma.

Mashiane has had a truly torrid time with Chiefs lately.

He has hardly featured for Amakhosi in recent seasons falling down the pecking order with Stuart Baxter as well as Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard.

MASHIANE RED CARD SENT HIM OUT OF CONTENTION

He went from hero to villian in just one moment.

Therefore, his red card against Pitso Mosimane in the CAF Champions League final took him from regular starter to regular benchwarmer. Now, he is injured and set to be out for several weeks.

This could spell the beginning of the end of his Amakhosi career. Before this injury he had already fallen out of favour with Chiefs management.
