Kaizer Chiefs: Amakhosi management searching for these TWO positions

Kaizer Chiefs are looking for a new coach. They’re also in the market for two key positions that Amakhosi management – and fans – feel needs strengthening.

Amakhosi are aiming to strengthen their strike force as well as their goalkeeping department.

Last week, it was confirmed that the Soweto giants are looking to ease the pressure off Ashley du Preez by bringing in another striker. Now, Amakhosi have identified the need to bring in a goalkeeper following the poor form of Brandon Peterson.

CHIEFS TAKE GOALKEEPER SEARCH TO THE DRC

Peterson has made a couple of costly blunders lately.

Furthermore, Itumeleng Khune is likely entering into his final season at Naturena.

So, Chiefs need a goalkeeper and management is well aware of this.

Hence, the recent search taking them to the Democratic Republic of Congo.

EX-AMAKHOSI STAR RECOMMENDS PLAYER, DISCUSSIONS UNDERWAY

In fact, this keeper was personally recommended to Chiefs by one of their former players.

“In their quest for a goalkeeper, Chiefs have set their sights on Motema Pembe’s goalkeeper who was recommended by former Amakhosi keeper Eshele Botende,” the report read on Phakaaati.

Botende was well-known for his skill in goal. So, he must see something special in this talented keeper.

“Discussions have already commenced with Motema Pembe about the potential acquisition of one of their talented young goalkeepers,” he added.
