Junior Khanye blames Chiefs coach and players
It’s been a bleak 24 hours for Kaizer Chiefs. Milford FC sent Amakhosi out of the Nedbank Cup. Here’s Junior Khanye’s take.

Football is a dramatic game. Kaizer Chiefs have been dumped out of the Nedbank Cup by a lower division club.

Unlike rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, Amakhosi will not be in the Nedbank Cup final 16.
Chiefs hosted the Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) club on Sunday evening at FNB. The result after 120 minutes was a goalless draw. The hero was Milford’s Man of the Match goalkeeper Siphamandla Hleza.
Penalty shootouts further resulted in a 4-5 loss to Amakhosi. Edson Castillo missed the second spot kick, before Hleza scored the winner.
The result leaves Chiefs with nine seasons without winning a trophy.

JUNIOR KHANYE GIVES HIS VERDICT
Speaking via iDiski TV on YouTube, Khanye laid all the blame on coach Johnson and the players.
“Why crosses?” said Khanye, as quoted by Lethabo Kganyago.
“I mean he gave the instruction. They crossed the ball with one player in the box, Du Preez alone, where are you going to score?
“So I’m very disappointed in him Cavin specifically. The players I’m not even going to talk [about them]. They do wrong, wrong things, in a lot of areas. I mean some of them are senior players but they don’t improve, we need to be honest. When you look at the bench there’s not much quality.
“So they need to go back because there is a lot of work they need to do and Cavin needs to take today’s loss. He’s one of the coaches that I love the most but I’m pointing at him today.
“I need to be honest about his tactics because he even said in the media that I don’t need to sign anyone I’ve got a team. And his team showed him today, so I’m blaming him and his whole team,” the former Chiefs winger concluded.
