Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager Bobby Motaung has issued an important update on suspended star Itumeleng Khune!

Itumeleng Khune is not yet out of the woods at Kaizer Chiefs, Amakhosi Football Manager Bobby Motaung has confirmed!

Khune was suspended from all football related activities by the club on 07 December 2023 due to off-field issues.

Many Amakhosi fans were hoping to see their legend return to action when the DStv Premiership resumes next week following the lengthy Afcon break.

However, Bobby Motaung’s latest comments will leave many of the club’s faithful fans disappointed!

Khune’s suspension at Kaizer Chiefs: Latest update

“I can’t share the time frame as to when he’ll be integrated with the team, but he’s still in the process of suspension.” Bobby Motaung told Sowetan.

“Remember, he was suspended by the DC so there’s a process and he’s following that process. The suspension may be expiring [soon], but there are still processes to be followed.”

In other news, former Kaizer Chiefs star Siyabonga Ngezana is flourishing in Europe!

The towering defender earned a blockbuster move to Romanian giants FCSB at the beginning of the season.

After a slow start to life in Bucharest, Ngezana is now in full throttle, putting on a number of sterling performances for his side.

According to outspoken FCSB boss Gigi Becali, if Ngezana improves his ‘technique’, his market value could shoot up to over €70 million!

“Ask opposing players how they feel when playing Ngezana and Dawa,” Becali told DigiSport as quoted by IdiskiTimes.

“These are panthers. No one can bow their head in front of them. If they also had technique, they were €70 to €80 million players.”
