Pitso gunning for the Gulf again

Pitso Mosimane has been without a club since leaving UAE side Al Wahda in October 2023. Speculation regarding his future has been rife, with Kaizer Chiefs and Zamalek persistently linked with the 59-year-old. He’s been sitting tight, however, waiting for the right project. He might have just found it.

His agent and wife Moira Tlhagale has confirmed he’ll be joining Abha Club in Saudi Arabia on a short-term deal.

“I can confirm to you that coach Pitso has officially signed with Saudi Arabia club Abha FC on Thursday,” the MT Sports MD told Sunday World.

“Coach Pitso will be returning to the Gulf and has signed a four-month contract with the team until the end of the season.

“His mandate is clear and that is to ensure that Abha survives relegation and plays in the Pro League again next season.”
