Former Kaizer Chiefs star Billiat is the best earner in Zimbabwe

According to Soccer24, Billiat will earn $5,000 a month with Yadah FC which is just over R95 000 in current terms. That pales in comparison to the reported R800,000 he was taking home per month at Chiefs. At 33, however, Billiat’s career has seen better days. However, he’s still rumoured to be the highest paid player in the division.

As per Unplayable on X, the 33-year-old has opted to join Yadah FC on a one-year deal instead of joining old club Dynamos who has been heavily linked with the former Sundowns, Ajax Cape Town and CAPS United wide man.

PROPHET SWOOPS IN TO SIGN KHAMA

It has previously been reported on The South African that Billiat landed in Zimbabwe on Tuesday to a welcoming party including Dynamos fans. However, popular prophet Walter Magaya was also there to make the player an offer. It’s turned out quite well for the Yadah Stars owner, who’s got his man. Billiat scored 24 goals and supplied 29 assists in 126 appearances for Chiefs meaning he directly contributed to 0.42 goals per game for the Glamour Boys. Contrast that with his stats for Sundowns, where his direct output was 0.64 goals per game.
