Hooligans: Chiefs fans demand coach’s axing again

Following the loss to SuperSport United, disgruntled Kaizer Chiefs fans now demand coach Molefi Ntseki’s axing.

A goal by Terrence Dzvukamanja made all the difference between Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United on Wednesday night and the disgruntled fans demand Molefi Ntseki’s axing.

The solitary goal by former Orlando Pirates striker separated the two sides, Chiefs and SuperSport at Peter Mokaba Stadium but Amakhosi fans didn’t show coach Ntseki the love.

Known as the Love and Peace-loving fans, it seems the DStv Premiership loss didn’t go down well for Chiefs fans on Wednesday night.

After the match, the angry Chiefs fans pelted the coach, Ntseki with objects as they voiced their displeasure.

HOOLIGANS DEMAND COACH’S AXING AT CHIEFS

For the second time, the angered Chiefs fans took matters into their own hands, and shouted at Ntseki as they didn’t even listen to football manager Bobby Motaung who tried to calm them down.

In a series of videos circulating on social media showing Chiefs fans up in arms in Polokwane, Ntseki was protected by the police and Gavin Hunt also shared his thoughts on the ugly scenes.

“I’ve been there, at Swallows, into the boot of the car, so I understand (Supporters anger), you need to be more understanding of situations and maybe they win on Saturday, then what happens, you know, so you never know, so you can handle these things in other ways, it’s just sad,” said Hunt after the match per Mzansi Football.

DISGRUNTLED CHIEFS FANS DEMAND COACH’S AXING

In his reaction after the match, the former Bafana Bafana coach, Ntseki lamented missed chances as they succumbed to their second loss of the season.

Chiefs and Ntseki are now under pressure to return to winning ways as they will face Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final second leg on Saturday.

“We came here into this game not having conceded, I think the last time we conceded was in the MTN8 and very late in the game, the last 3 games we did not concede,” said Ntseki.
