After training with the Chiefs senior since January, Vilakazi achieved his dream on Sunday.

Meanwhile, coach Cavin Johnson was asked to rate Vilakazi’s first appearance.

“I thought Mfundo came [in for his debut] and did quite well, for a young player to come on, I put him on a real pressure game, I think he did well,” Johnson said via iDiskiTimes.

“I don’t think he lost the ball, so he’s got a bright future with Kaizer Chiefs, unfortunately, today he was not able to show his real quality, I thought it would have come if we scored the goal, then we would have seen how good he is to move the ball. But he did very well.”
