Ntseki had to be escorted from the field at the Mbombela Stadium last month after Amakhosi went down 1-0 to TS Galaxy.

He was again under threat from his own supporters as the Glamour Boys suffered a 1-0 defeat to Matsatsantsa on Wednesday night.

Terrence Dzvukamanja scored the only goal at the Peter Mokaba Stadium to leave Ntseki’s side in eighth place in the DStv Premiership standings with just eight points from seven matches.

Meanwhile, SuperSport United are in third place with 13 points.

Speaking after the final whistle, Gavin Hunt, who previously coached Kaizer Chiefs, said in a SuperSport interview: “I’ve been there (before) I’ve been at (Moroka) Swallows in the boot of a car so I understand.

“It’s not really for me to comment but it’s not the right way to handle things. We need to be more understanding of situations.

“Maybe they will win on Saturday then what happens? You never know in football but I think we can handle these things in other ways, it’s sad, very sad.”

Kaizer Chiefs next face Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of their MTN8 semi-final with the tie tied at 1-1 after the first match.

That match will take place on Saturday, 23 September.

Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00.
