Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Kgaogelo Sekgota has been spotted at Soweto rivals Moroka Swallows where he’s hoping to get a deal.

And that’s according to Soccer Laduma who reports that Sekgota has spent the last few days training with the Tube Birds.

This comes after Sekgota’s early release by Stellenbosch FC where he was expected to get his career back on track.

FORMER KAIZER CHIEFS WINGER SEKGOTA AT SWALLOWS

“According to Siya sources in Gauteng, Sekgota has been spending the last few days training with Moroka Swallows where he’s hoping to impress the Dube Birds’ hierarchy,” reads part of the report.

The source further indicated that Sekgota has not officially put pen to paper but there are possibilities of a potential deal,” added the report.

SEKGOTA HAD A PROMISING CAREER BUT…

Sekgota once had a promising career, especially at Bidvest Wits and Moroka Swallows where Chiefs spotted and recruited him.

He even caught the eye of Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Brood who gave him amfew chances at the national team.

However, things went from promising to bad in a very short space of time as he found himself struggling for game time at Chiefs.

Steve Barker took him in at Stellies, and there was hope among Sekgota’s fans that he would rise again but it wasn’t to be.

Rumour has it that Sekgota’s off-field lifestyle is what has led to his career going the downward spiral despite his immense talent.
