It’s quite catchy.

Once upon a time, Barcelona had arguably the finest strikeforce in history with Messi, Suarez and Neymar forming the MSN. Is it time for a similar nickname at Orlando Pirates?
At its peak, this must have been the most devastating trio of attackers the sport has ever seen. There was the aggression, directness and sublime finishing of Luis Suarez, the ball-carrying ability and trickery of Neymar and everything that Lionel Messi brought to the table, which was pretty much everything. They combined in 451 total games with 322 wins. In those matches, the trio scored 363 goals and supplied 272 assists. Frightening. This trident combined to supply an assist every 62.7 minutes of football. Together they won seven trophies with FC Barcelona.
Relebohile Mofokeng, one of South Africa’s most exciting footballing talents for a while, scored a dramatic winner in the Nedbank Cup final against Sundowns. He’s earning rave reviews and rightly so. Although Tshegofatso Mabasa was overlooked in the final for Evidence Makgopa, we can’t forget his scintillating contribution of 16 goals in the league this term. The Golden Boot winner will battle Bafana Bafana star Evidence Makgopa, another ‘M’ for a starting berth next term. Meanwhile, playmaker Patrick Maswanganyi was also on the score sheet in the final and Thalente Mbatha was the man of the match. The MMM combo could be the MMMMM if all five are on the pitch at the same time. Throw in Makhehlene Makhaula and it’s all getting a bit silly.
Under Jose Riveiro, Pirates have won four domestic cup competitions. Their last two successes have come at the expense of South African champions Sundowns. The next frontier for Riveiro and his players is to mount a serious league title challenge and make progress in the CAF Champions League. However, what’s clear is that this group is more than capable of winning cups and performing in big matches.
